Where is Stores Rental located?
Stores is located at 101 Angell Building, approximately one block east of Harrison Road.
How do I pay for rental equipment and what determines eligibility?
Customers with a valid MSU account number may rent equipment. Funds are automatically removed from accounts on a monthly basis through the Stores billing process.
What products are available for rental?

How do I place rental order?
Customers can complete the online Rental Request Form. You will be notified as soon as possible regarding availability of requested items.
What is the availability of pagers, office equipment, and hampers?
Pagers are available for same-day pickup. There is a limited quantity of small office equipment. Depending on availability, these items are available for same-day pickup. There are approximately 60 hampers available. It is recommended that you call ahead to check on availability. In-stock hampers will be delivered within 24 hours.
For how long can I rent an item?
Items are rented on a daily or a monthly basis, depending on the item.
Where are rental items picked up and returned?
Rental items are picked up and returned to the University Stores main office at 101 Angell Building. Items may also be delivered and picked up. Please fill out the online request form and specify "delivery" or call 517.355.1700. Hampers may only be returned empty.
What happens if something is lost, stolen, or broken?
If an item is lost or stolen, it is the customer's responsibility. However, if the product doesn't perform properly, it will be repaired or replaced.
I am interested in renting an item you do not carry. What can I do to get this
item added to your inventory?
Suggestions are welcomed for new rental items. You can e-mail your suggestions to University Stores.
Are Stores prices comparable to other local vendors?
Through the purchasing power of the University, University Stores is able to obtain the lowest pricing
available. This allows Stores to pass along savings to customers.
