RELOCATION/MOVING SERVICES CONTRACT
Two Men and a Truck
Preferred supplier for intra-campus moves. This contract is available for household, office, and specialty equipment moves within the state of Michigan. Since moves are a highly individualized process, please contact the carrier directly for detailed and specific information related to your needs.
Level 1 Service (40 miles or less) consists of the following:
- Free on-site estimates provided (will include cost of vehicles, labor, and all necessary equipment)
- Unless a bid is requested, actual charges will be based on time and materials
- $105/hour charge for two trained professional movers and a 26’ straight truck
- Additional movers and trucks are available at $35/hour each
- One hour minimum (charges figured in 15 minute increments)
- Time starts and stops from the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® office
- No overtime charges for evenings or Saturdays
- Cost includes doorjamb protectors, stretch wrap service, and basic entry floor protection -15 feet of
neoprene floor covering
- Full and partial packing services are available at a rate of $140/hour (includes two professional packers
and all packing materials)
- Third party services, if required, will be invoiced through TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® at cost
- No charge for color coded removable labels and assistance in labeling floor plans
- Written moving instructions and a pre-move briefing will be provided
- Each crew will be equipped with tool kit for basic dismantling and reassembly of furniture
- Full value protection included at no extra cost up to $100,000/truckload
- TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® requires notification if contents exceed $100,000/truckload (additional
charges may be assessed)
- Full line of boxes and packing supplies available for purchase at a 10% discount off current retail
prices (free delivery included) and full credit will be given for any unused packing materials
- All movers have undergone drug screening and background checks and are in uniform
- All drivers and movers are TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® employees (no day labors or temp services)
Level 2 Service (household moves only–over 40 miles within the state of Michigan) consists of the following:
- Free on-site estimates provided
- All moving, packing, and container costs pricing will be subject to the MPSC Tariff 4000
- Third party services, if required, will be invoiced through TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® at cost
- Cost includes doorjamb protectors, stretch wrap service, and basic entry floor protection -15 feet of
neoprene floor covering
- A written non-binding estimate will be provided for each move
- Each crew will be equipped with tool kit for basic dismantling and reassembly of furniture
- Mover requires notification if contents exceed $100,000/truckload (additional charges will be assessed)
- Full line of boxes and packing supplies available for purchase at a (free delivery included) and full credit will be given for any unused packing materials
- All movers have undergone drug screening and background checks and are in uniform
- All drivers and movers are TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® employees (no day labors or temp services)
- Any claims resulting from our service will be expedited and fairly resolved based on valuation selection
